This was a full gut-and-rebuild of a jewelry retail space in Arvada. The Diamond Reserve needed every inch of the space to reflect the quality of what they sell. That meant nothing was off the table - flooring, walls, private consultation rooms, a staff kitchen, bathrooms, display cases, lighting. All of it.
The retail floor sets the tone immediately. White and gold display cases line the walls, a round center showcase anchors the room, and the original exposed brick on one side gives the whole space a grounded, historic feel. The herringbone hardwood floors run through every room - retail floor, kitchen, consultation spaces - and they tie it all together without feeling overdone.
The private consultation rooms were built with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and sliding glass doors. It gives clients privacy while keeping the space open and connected to the rest of the store. Each room has its own character - gem-themed artwork, warm lighting, a comfortable mix of seating options. These aren't afterthoughts. They're part of the experience.
The staff kitchen got a full build-out with two-tone cabinetry - white lowers, natural wood uppers - a warm tile backsplash, brass hardware throughout, and a matching white and gold French door refrigerator. It flows right into a bar-height dining area along the exposed brick wall. The bathroom is where things get bold. Black and gold wallpaper floor to ceiling, geometric floor tile, brass fixtures, a vessel sink. It does not look like a commercial restroom.
Every finish in this build was chosen with intention. The brass accents repeat from room to room. The tile work, the wood shelving, the lighting - it all reads as one cohesive design. This is what a full commercial remodel looks like when nothing gets phoned in.
