This one was a serious undertaking. A large, custom home with multiple roof planes, a turret, steep pitches, and a lot of complex geometry - not the kind of job you can rush through. The homeowner wanted a complete roof replacement, and they wanted it done right. That meant starting from scratch and building it back up properly, layer by layer.

We started with full tear-off and worked through the underlayment stage across every section of the roof. That includes the main pitches, the turret cap, the dormers, and all the valleys where different planes meet. Those transition points are where most roofs fail first, so we take extra care getting the underlayment set correctly before a single tile goes down.

The new concrete tile in a dark charcoal color is a big part of what makes this home look so sharp now. Concrete tile is heavy and durable - it handles impact, wind, and weather in a way that a standard shingle roof simply can't match. For a home this size and this detailed architecturally, it was the right call. It also ties the whole exterior together. The stucco, the stone, the windows - everything reads better with a roof that carries some weight visually.

The exterior paint update happening alongside the roof work only added to the finished look. A new roof paired with fresh paint is one of the most effective ways to bring real value back to a home. It protects from the top down while giving the whole place a clean, well-maintained appearance that holds up for years.

Jobs like this are exactly what we built our residential roofing operation to handle. Complex rooflines, premium materials, multiple crews working in coordination - we take pride in getting the details right on homes like this one.
